Veteran Services Collaborative

The San Luis Obispo Veterans Services Collaborative (SLOVSC), is a non-profit California corporation that organizes, coordinates, communicates and connects more than 150 government and non-government organizations that support the many Veterans living in San Luis Obispo County and surrounding communities.

This Collaborative was not created to serve veterans directly and has organized to ensure there is no duplication of services. The mission of the San Luis Obispo Veteran’s Collaborative is to connect veterans to the service programs of all types available in San Luis Obispo County.

Health Task Group

We develop more personal and family health opportunities for veterans by working with community partners to utilize their health services.

Employment Task Group

We increase the number of employers committed to hiring, developing and promoting veterans, and create employment opportunities by connecting veterans to existing education and training programs.

Housing Task Group

We increase the number of landlords willing to rent to homeless and working veterans with vouchers at affordable rates.
